Forbidden love, curses, betrayal, forgiveness, evil spells and death, but still eternal happiness prevails.  Swan Lake the most timeless and classical of all “classic ballets” will be presented April 4^th-6^th at the University of Houston – Clear Lake’s Bayou Theatre.  Ballet Master Luis Fuente (formerly of the Joffery Ballet) brings his detail and expertise to this stunning production of this classic and historic ballet.

In October 2007, Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre premiered the  tale of Edward Scissorhands. This touching and witty gothic fairytale tells the story of a boy created by an eccentric inventor who dies leaving him alone and unfinished. Left with only scissors for hands, Edward must find his place in a strange new suburban world where the well meaning community struggles to see past his strange appearance to the innocence and gentleness within. It is an adventure for the entire family.

In late November and early December 2007, Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre took patrons on an amazing journey that begins when young Clara joins her family and friends at a holiday party and is given a nutcracker by mysterious Dr. Drosselmeyer.
